How are QR Codes used in Lane?

User Profile

Each user has a unique QR code that can be used to identify the person as a Lane user.

This QR code can be viewed by going to the Profile tab and clicking on the QR Code icon in the top right. The full QR Code displays as shown:

Interaction Receipts

Whenever a user submits an interaction, such as reserving a space or registering a guest, a unique QR Code is created for that transaction.

When scanned, the transaction receipt is displayed, which can be used to verify a reservation, registration, or purchase has been made:

Changing a Status as Mobile Admin

Admin users can scan a QR Code to change the status of an interaction from Created or Approved to Arrived or Closed, for example.

As long as you have Mobile Admin View enabled for the channel, you can scan a QR code of a member's transaction and change the status.
