How to: Add Company to a profile

Include Company

When a new user signs up to a Public Channel on Lane, they are asked to choose their company first:


Then they are asked to select the building they work from:


The new Team Member is now associated with their company, which is displayed in their profile: 


When the Team Member interacts with a Channel, the associated Company appears next to their Profile information, which helps Workplace Administrators identify and verify the person:


Users who did not select a Company when signing up can select a Company to join from Buildings & Companies in the Profile tab:
