How to: Managing Tenants

Your workplace is a connected ecosystem with a variety of Tenants.

Types of Tenants 

Lane can accommodate the diverse needs of the all the following tenant types:

  • Retail
  • Restaurant
  • Company
  • Service
  • Entertainment
  • Organization
  • Charity


In general, each Tenant may have their own Channel, where they can build and manage their own content. A Retailer or Restaurant may create promotions which the Workplace Admin of a Company or Organization may pull into an area of their own Channel.

Add a Tenant

Keeping your Tenant list up to date ensures all members in your workplace are engaging with your app on a regular basis. As a Workplace Admin, you can add Tenants in and around your building that have an existing Lane Tenant profile.


You can add a new Tenant by following these simple steps:

  1. Tenant Management: From the Admin View, go to Tenant Management under Channel Settings.
  2. Add Tenant: To add a new Tenant, first select the type of Tenant to add. The Add button is only active when a Tenant Type is selected.
  3. Find the Tenant and click on Add, and confirm the selection.

Note: New Tenants may need to be created by Lane Admins. Contact Lane Support for more information.
