Subscribing to channels is a great way to stay connected and involved in multiple workplaces at the same time!
You can subscribe to a channel from your mobile device or on your computer with these simple steps:
On a Desktop:
- Profile: Open your Profile from the button on the top right corner of the screen.
- Buildings & Companies: Select the Buildings and Companies section from the top of the Profile Page. You will then see a list of all the available buildings, companies, and retailers within your area.
- Search: It's simple to find your workplace, company, or retailer with the search field.
- Join: When you've located the channel you'd like to join, simply double click and select confirm to join that channel.
- Switch Channel: Once joined give your page a refresh, and search for the channel within your channel switcher. 🎉
On a Mobile device:
- Profile: Open your Profile Tab from the bottom right of the mobile app.
- Subscriptions: Scroll down to the bottom of the Profile Page, and select Subsciptions. You will then see a list of all the available buildings, companies, and retailers within your area.
- Search: It's simple to find your workplace, company, or retailer with the search field. Use the section buttons to search between companies and buildings
- Join: When you've located the channel you'd like to join, simply tap on it and select confirm to join that channel.
- Switch Channel: Once joined, search for the channel within your channel switcher by clicking on switch. 🎉
How to unsubscribe from a Channel
If you are changing workplaces, or leaving a Lane workplace, unsubscribing from a channel will remove you from the channel and will deactivate all channel notifications.
You can unsubscribe from a channel with these simple steps.
On a Desktop:
- Click on the Settings icon (from the Admin or Members view).
- Click on the Leave button under the channel you wish to unsubscribe from.
- Click Confirm to finalize.
On a Mobile Device:
- Go to the Profile Tab
- Click on Channel Settings
- Click on the Edit icon next to the channel you wish to unsubscribe from.
- Click on the Leave button.
- Click on Yes to confirm.
Note: Unsubscribing from a channel will NOT delete your account.
