In Lane, Pages are the base for evergreen content. Pages are for content without an expiry date.
What is a Page?
Pages is a functionality that allows our clients to customize evergreen content through the Lane builder. You can create interactive and non-interactive content to suit the needs of your workplace. Working alongside your Customer Success Manager you'll create new Pages in your Lane workplace.
In this article, we'll explore Pages, the Page Center, and the components that will make them stand out! Use this as a guide for inspiration.
Create a Page
- Select Page Center
- Start a New Page
- Here you'll have the option to choose a pre-existing template!
- In the builder, navigate to the Info tab or click Next if in a previous builder step
- Select either;
- Standard Card, Hero Card or Horizontal Card
- Fill out relevant information, choose a color background, upload a logo, or background image!
Once you complete building a Page, the content completed on the Info tab will appear in your Page Center.
Once the Info step is complete, you'll be brought to the Editor in the Lane Builder. Learn more about editing content in Lane!
You'll notice; when creating a Page you will now have four options, instead of the five found in the Content Center. Pages don't have a time expiration, this switches the context of the Lane Builder.
In the Editor start by selecting content blocks and dragging them into the builder to compose Pages. A good rule of thumb is to start with an eye-catching image, a concise title, and a small paragraph highlight.
Page can highlight a tenant in your workplace, share a room booking form, or provide in-depth information about an amenity in your workplace. Org Admins and Workplace Admins can create an infinite number of Pages.
When adding blocks of text, write intentionally. Learn more about crafting the best content through our guide Best Practices: Creating Content
