Content Center Basics

A high-level overview of the various components of the Lane Content Center, the heart of the workplace experience platform.

The Content Center is the heart of the workplace experience platform. Here, you will find the tools to make your workplace platform a communication hub. Content, both Static and Dynamic can be managed from this page. Posts are filtered by their status - Published or Drafts - and the date range.

Content can be viewed in the list view or thumbnail view.

The thumbnail view hides most of this information showing the hero image that subscribers will see on the mobile and web apps.

The list view, the following information will be visible for each post.

This list explains the different columns.

  • Created Date:
    • The date in which the post was created.
  • Last update:
    • The date in which the post was last edited.
  • Name:
    • The name of the post is listed in the 'Name' column. This can be sorted in alphabetical and reverse alphabetical order.
  • Schedule:
    • This column indicates when the post is scheduled to go live or made visible to the subscribers of that channel. The options range from a specific date and time, to weekly and monthly recurring based on the day of the week.
  • Type:
    • This column indicates whether the post is a regular post or a one-time notice. 
  • Tags:
    • Any post can be given a tag, which will be shown in this column.
      • Examples include newsletters, events, news, etc
  • Interactive:
    • This column indicates whether the post is interactive. Interactive posts allow users to submit responses, RSVP for events, and more.
  • Views:
    • The number of views of each post, over the given date range.

To create a new post from an existing template, or from scratch, click the "New Post" button in the top-right corner.

To create a notice from an existing template, or from scratch, click the “New Notice” button in the top-right corner.

Posts that have been published will (EDIT: or have appeared)appear on your tenants’ feeds and be viewable on the Published page.

Posts that have been created, but not yet published will be saved as Drafts. Drafts can be edited and published at any time. 

Archived Posts

To find archived posts or notices that have previously been live on the platform, search through the Published section using the search bar or selecting the applicable date range.
